How It Works
Unit Index combines visual measurement tools with educational resources designed to make scale and measurement easier to understand. Users can explore measurements directly, work through structured learning materials, or use resources developed for individual learners, classrooms, and organizations.
Visual Comparisons
Enter a number and unit into the search bar and Unit Index will generate a visual comparison using familiar, everyday objects and spaces. Comparisons are designed to provide an intuitive sense of scale rather than replace precise measurement tools.
Learning Resources
Unit Index learning materials can include quizzes, assignments, activities, curriculum resources, and custom exercises. These resources are designed to complement the visual comparison platform and can be used independently or as part of a structured learning plan.
Custom Education Plans
Educators, families, schools, and organizations can request education packages tailored to specific learning needs. Available options include our Premium Plan, which provides the most comprehensive level of customized learning support.

Language Support
Unit Index is available across multiple languages, with educational resources and platform features being expanded for additional international audiences.

A Note on Precision
All visual comparisons are approximate and intended to help users understand scale. For exact measurements, use an appropriate measuring instrument or authoritative technical source.
